  7. The Food Distribution System (FDS) was developed and enhanced to handle the
  8. varied current demands of the food distribution industry. The aims of this
  9. module are to improve customer management, balance inventory investment to
  10. expected service levels, and provide complete operational business information.
  11. The system is completely online, is designed for a multilocation operation, and
  12. handles complex pricing, promotions, rebating, commissions, and various costing
  13. strategies. Route delivery, either in peddle or call order, can be controlled,
  14. including hand held devices, if necessary. The installation can include a
  15. complete financial system, purchasing, and maintenance management for the
  16. distribution fleet.
